Job Summary: Looking for a Supermarket Cashier in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
Handle all transactions in the supermarket
Scan and process items accurately and efficiently with the help of a cash register or scanning system, ensuring pricing and discounts are applied correctly
Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to a supervisor or manager when necessary
Respond to customer inquiries regarding payments
Follow all safety and security procedures, including handling cash securely and reporting any suspicious activities or discrepancies
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including adhering to cash handling and cash register policies
Carry out any other related tasks as may be required
Job Qualifications and Experience
Possess a Degree or Diploma in a business related course
At least 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a cashier required
Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Must have a high level of integrity and honesty in handling cash and confidential information
