The Subcontract Administrator is an entry level position for a local talent focused supporting selected commercial subcontracts administration work to begin a candidate's career in Subcontracts. Tasks include assistance with high volume subcontract packages from RFQ to Execution phase on Database management, data analytics, reporting and Vendor management for the Subcontract functions. A successful candidate will be proficient in database development and maintenance, Excel reports and data analytics related to Subcontracts. We are keen to connect with a Subcontracts Administrator (Arabic speaking) who is residing in Saudi Arabia. Key Tasks and Responsibilities · Learn, enhance and maintain databases, as well as Excel Spreadsheets to support the operations in the subcontract groups. · Analyzing and converting raw Spend data into weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for Subcontract Administrators and SCM Management. · Handling the internal Vendor pre-qualification and vetting process. · Analyze and organize Excel reports containing commodity and spend data. · Mastering the use of SCM system tools in order to be able to support Supply Chain employees with training and troubleshooting on these systems. · Communicates with Buyers, Expeditors, Project Procurement Managers, Subcontract Administrators and other project personnel concerning system and reporting tool improvements and maintenance. · Executing special projects and initiatives set by SCM Management · Establishes medium and long term career and personal development goals · Enthusiastically seeks and accepts tasks and projects in rotations that allow for maximum experience and growth. · This role routinely interacts with internal Operations/Project Management, Professional Staff and Corporate Function Leads. Essential Qualifications and Education · 2 - 3 years work experience required, must be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of administrative work. · Must have capabilities in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros, etc.) and other MS Office applications · Must have Database development and maintenance experience · Preferred to have JD Edwards (JDE) software experience · Preferred to have a general knowledge of the procurement and subcontracting process · Preferred to have +1 years of experience working in a Supply Chain environment Company Overview and Core Values McDermott is a premier, fully-integrated provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry.
