Job Location: Flexible The Role Your role within Tamatem\xe2\x80\x99s world will include the following: Technical Vision & Execution:
- Collaborate with the Technical Director to define the technical vision of both existing and new products across a range of areas, including gameplay mechanics, UI, engine, etc.
- Stay up to date on technological advancements and industry standards to define our best practices and share them with your team
- Ensure game features and systems are scalable, flexible, and simple to use
- Manage the studio\'s budget, collaborating with other teams to plan and implement new initiatives
- Utilize and improve best practice methodologies, production processes, and efficient tools to promote innovation and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead basic studio legal activities \xe2\x80\x93 letters of agreement, contracts, leases, and other legal documents and agreements
- Develop external partnerships with 3rd parties to leverage resources and cost advantages
- Identify and recruit team members
- Mentor and motivate team members to develop their skills
- Ensure that the team has what they need to work efficiently and achieve quality (tools, pipelines, etc.)
- Collaborate with the internal teams to drive in-depth data analysis and research that will inform technical and commercial decisions
- Evaluate the potential commercial success of games under development, as well as the performance of released games, and make recommendations for improvement
- Establish relationships with potential partners and licensors to increase the commercial success of Tamatem\'s games
- Ideate, design, and iterate on development processes and practices within the product teams
- Create documentation to capture key challenges, solutions and learning points
- Experience leading teams in the mobile games space.
- Practical management skills overseeing studio operations and/or creation.
- Strong knowledge of technical skills, such as Unity, HTML5, C++, and other programming languages.
- Bachelor\'s degree in IT, Computer Science, or STEM fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
