Position Summary:
Join our dynamic Dubai team and become the face of the EC student experience! As a Student Services Coordinator, you'll play a key role in welcoming students from around the world, supporting them throughout their journey, and ensuring their time with EC is nothing short of unforgettable. You'll be their go-to guide and problem solver, helping them feel at home from their first day in Dubai to their last.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused role perfect for someone who thrives in an international environment, loves creating exceptional experiences and takes pride in making every interaction count.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the first friendly face at the Centre--welcoming students and visitors, offering professional guidance, and responding to requests with warmth, clarity, and efficiency.
Drive student engagement by working closely with the Operations Manager and Director of Studies to generate and convert walk-in enquiries.
Own the accommodation process--managing student placements in residences and shared apartments, keeping records up to date, and ensuring every student feels comfortable and supported.
Design and deliver an exciting activities programme that helps students build memories, friendships, and confidence outside the classroom.
Ensure compliance and accuracy in all company and regulatory procedures, including immigration and statutory requirements.
Champion process improvements by identifying new ways to elevate the student experience--leading initiatives such as the Student Ambassador Programme.
Coordinate all key student "firsts" such as airport transfers, arrival at accommodation, and first-day logistics, ensuring every step is smooth, welcoming, and memorable.
Support financial processes by assisting with any outstanding student payments in line with company policy.
Education Required:
A-level or equivalent
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Education Desired:
Higher Education
Knowledge of a language other than English is considered an asset
Experience Required:
Previous experience working in customer facing industry, ideally with multi-cultural aspect.
Customer Service experience
Working in a multi-cultural environment
Has personally travelled as a language student
Knowledge of accommodation in the EFL industry
Previous work experience in an English Language School
