Oil & Gas / Port Operations/ Heavy Equipment Maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems of STS and RTG cranes.
Diagnose faults in control panels, motors, PLCs, sensors, drives, and automation systems.
Ensure all electrical work is conducted in accordance with safety and operational standards.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Collaborate with other technical departments to ensure maximum crane availability and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
3 to 5 years
of hands-on
electrical maintenance experience
on STS and RTG cranes.
Strong background in the
oil and gas industry
, terminal, or port operations.
Experience with
PLC systems
,
variable frequency drives (VFDs)
, and
high-voltage components
.
Ability to read and interpret
electrical schematics
and technical documentation.
Good knowledge of
HSE practices
and compliance in hazardous environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Certification in industrial electrical systems or crane maintenance.
Familiarity with international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC) is a plus.
Ability to work independently under pressure and during emergency repairs.
