Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented

Structures and Geotechnical Lead

to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for reviewing and updating standards and specifications related to structural design and geotechnical engineering. This role will ensure that all updates reflect the latest advancements in structural integrity, foundation design, and soil mechanics, while adhering to local and international standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

Review and analyze existing standards and specifications for structural and geotechnical engineering. Conduct gap analyses to identify deficiencies in structural design, foundation systems, and geotechnical practices. Benchmark local standards against GCC and international best practices to propose updates and enhancements. Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize modifications and updates to structural and geotechnical-related documents. Ensure that proposed updates address safety, durability, and sustainability in structural and geotechnical designs. Provide technical expertise during stakeholder meetings and workshops on structural and geotechnical matters.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven 10 years experience in structural design, geotechnical engineering, and foundation systems. Strong understanding of international standards and best practices for structural and geotechnical engineering. Proven experience working on updates to technical standards, guidelines, and specifications, ideally within a government or local authority context.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Familiarity with Abu Dhabi's local regulations and standards is an advantage. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
