Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural steel elements, assemblies, and connections
Prepare engineering calculations, design packages, and technical reports
Review and approve steel fabrication drawings and shop details
Collaborate with drafting teams to ensure accurate and complete drawings
Perform load calculations, modelling, and structural analysis using relevant software
Coordinate with architects, contractors, fabricators, and internal teams
Provide engineering support during fabrication and installation phases
Assist with project planning, timelines, and technical problem-solving
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in a steel fabrication company
Strong knowledge of steel design principles and fabrication/erection practices
Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000
Ability to read, interpret, and review structural and fabrication drawings
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
