Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Fabricator to join our team. The role involves cutting, assembling, and welding steel components as per engineering drawings and project specifications. The fabricator must ensure high-quality workmanship, maintain safety standards, and support site installation when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel sections using machines and hand tools. Assemble and tack-weld components in preparation for final welding. Ensure accuracy and dimensional tolerances as per project requirements. Grind, finish, and prepare completed assemblies for painting or galvanizing. Operate workshop machinery such as cutting machines, drills, grinders, and presses. Follow all workplace safety procedures and use PPE. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Assist in site erection/installation work when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Structural Fabricator or Steel Fabricator. Ability to read and interpret fabrication/engineering drawings. Knowledge of welding techniques and workshop machinery. Familiarity with different grades of steel and fabrication standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Physical strength and stamina for workshop and site work. Basic understanding of workplace health & safety.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. 2-5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication.
Work Conditions:
Workshop-based with occasional site installation work. Requires use of PPE (safety shoes, gloves, helmet, welding mask, etc.). Ready to overtime depending on project deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
