Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Structural Engineer (Supervision)

to join our team in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with structural drawings, project specifications, and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS). This role requires a detail-oriented engineer with strong knowledge of international codes and practical site supervision expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor structural construction works at site. Review and approve contractors' shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Ensure all structural works comply with QCS, international standards, and project requirements. Conduct inspections of reinforcement, formwork, concreting, and structural installations. Coordinate with project managers, architects, MEP, and contractors to resolve site issues. Report non-conformities and propose corrective actions. Prepare site reports, progress updates, and quality control documentation. Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed on-site. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site inspectors.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). Valid

UPDA Grade B or C certification

in Qatar (Mandatory). Minimum

10 years of professional experience

, with at least

5 years in site supervision in Qatar/GCC

. Strong knowledge of structural supervision practices, QCS, and international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, etc.). Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, etc.).
