Job Description

We are looking for Structural Engineer Designer (G+12).

Structural Design and Analysis

Design safe, economical, and efficient structural systems (e.g., foundations, columns, beams, slabs, trusses). Perform structural analysis using software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, Revit Structure). Ensure designs meet relevant codes and standards (e.g., BS, ACI, ASCE, Eurocode, UAE local codes). Calculate loads (dead, live, wind, seismic, etc.) and analyze their effects on the structure.

2. Preparation of Design Drawings and Documents

Develop detailed structural drawings and design reports. Coordinate with draftsmen to produce structural plans, sections, and details. Prepare design notes, specifications, and bill of quantities related to the structure.

3. Coordination with Other Disciplines

Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other design teams to ensure structural integrity aligns with overall design intent. Attend coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts or construction issues.

4. Review and Approval

Review shop drawings and material submittals from contractors to ensure compliance with the design intent. Approve structural elements and details during construction stages.

5. Site and Construction Support

Provide technical assistance during construction. Conduct site inspections to verify that work complies with structural drawings and specifications. Issue site instructions or reports when necessary.

6. Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, local authority requirements, and building codes. Participate in value engineering and design optimization processes.

7. Project Management and Documentation

Manage structural design deliverables and schedules. Prepare progress reports and communicate with clients or consultants regarding design status.

8. Research and Innovation

Stay updated with new construction materials, technologies, and design methodologies. Integrate sustainable and cost-effective design solutions.
Requirements:

1. G+12 DM Approved

2. Minimum of 3 years experience in Dubai
