Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed structural drawings for concrete, steel, and other structural systems using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software. Convert structural engineers' sketches and design concepts into technical drawings. Create general arrangement drawings, reinforcement detailing, sections, and connection details. Coordinate drawings with architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. Assist in the preparation of submission drawings for municipalities and authorities. Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings as required for construction and documentation. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and company quality guidelines. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and documentation. Revise drawings based on site conditions, engineering revisions, or client instructions. Support engineers in preparing structural documentation and technical reports.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structural Draughtsman in the UAE (consultant or contractor background preferred). Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit Structure and other structural software is an advantage. Strong understanding of structural systems, reinforcement details, and construction methods. Familiarity with local municipality standards and submission procedures. High attention to detail, accuracy, and technical standards. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good communication and team collaboration skills.
