The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate structural drawings and detailed designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project requirements, and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed structural drawings for concrete and steel structures including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and reinforcement details.
Develop design drawings based on structural calculations, specifications, and project requirements.
Produce shop drawings, formwork drawings, and bar bending schedules (BBS).
Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams to resolve design clashes and discrepancies.
Review and update drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant comments.
Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and authority requirements.
Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Support value engineering and constructability reviews where required.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Structural Draughtsman role within construction or real estate development industries.
Strong knowledge of RCC and steel structure detailing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and authority regulations.
Experience in high-rise or large-scale development projects.
Knowledge of BIM tools such as Revit Structure.
Experience working with consultants and design teams.
Ability to interpret structural calculations and technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
