Job Description
Job Responsibilities - Structural Steel Designer
Prepare detailed
designs, drawings, and models
for structural steel components, assemblies, and connections using CAD software (AutoCAD, Tekla, SolidWorks, or similar). Interpretarchitectural and engineering drawings
to develop accurate structural steel shop drawings and fabrication drawings. Performstructural analysis and design calculations
for beams, columns, trusses, and other steel members as per project requirements and applicable codes (AISC, BS, Eurocode, etc.). Ensurecompliance with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations
in all designs. Coordinate withengineers, architects, project managers, and fabrication teams
to clarify requirements and resolve design issues. Preparematerial lists, cutting lists, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities)
for procurement and fabrication. Review and check shop drawings, erection drawings, and fabrication details foraccuracy and constructability
. Providetechnical support
during fabrication and installation stages to resolve design-related queries. Participate indesign review meetings
and propose improvements for cost efficiency and structural integrity. Maintain properdocumentation and records
of all drawings, revisions, and approvals. Stay updated withlatest materials, fabrication techniques, and software tools
related to structural steel design.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
