Structural Design Engineer

with proven expertise in

SAP2000

and

IDEA StatiCa

to join our engineering team and support our ongoing and upcoming steel structure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

structural analysis and design

of steel structures, frames, and connections using SAP2000 and IDEA StatiCa. Prepare and validate

design calculations

, ensuring compliance with relevant international and local codes (AISC, BS, EN, etc.). Coordinate with project engineers, draftsmen, and fabrication teams to ensure design intent is properly executed on site. Develop

connection design reports

and assist in optimizing steel member sizes for cost and performance. Review fabrication and erection drawings to confirm design accuracy. Support in preparation of

method statements, material submittals, and technical reports

as needed. Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal management for design approvals and technical clarifications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred). Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in steel structure design and detailing. Strong proficiency in

SAP2000

and

IDEA StatiCa

(experience in Tekla Structures or AutoCAD is a plus). Solid understanding of structural analysis principles, load combinations, and steel connection behavior. Familiarity with fabrication and erection processes in steel construction. Excellent technical report writing and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
