Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Structural Design Engineer

who is

approved by Dubai Municipality (DM)

, with a proven track record in

designing and submitting warehouse steel structure projects

for approval. The ideal candidate will have worked in an

engineering consultancy

environment and be well-versed in DM codes, submission processes, and structural compliance for industrial steel structures.

Prepare and review

structural design drawings, reports, and load calculations

for steel structures. Handle the

full submission cycle

to

Dubai Municipality

, including online portal submissions, technical clarifications, and follow-ups until approval. Ensure structural designs comply with

DM regulations

,

Dubai Building Codes

, and international standards (BS, ACI, Eurocodes, etc.). Coordinate with

architects, MEP teams, and authorities

to ensure integrated and compliant design submissions. Manage

revisions and resubmissions

as required by authorities. Provide

technical support

to project and site teams during construction, ensuring execution as per approved structural design. Liaise with contractors and other stakeholders for

value engineering

and constructability reviews. Stay current with

DM regulatory updates

, portal procedures, and design best practices.

Requirements:

Dubai Municipality approved Structural Design Engineer (G+1 or higher)

is

mandatory

. Minimum

5 years of structural design experience

in the

UAE

, focused on

warehouse/steel structures

. Prior experience in an

engineering consultancy firm

in Dubai is

preferred

. In-depth knowledge of

steel structure analysis

,

foundation design

, and

connection detailing

. Expertise in structural software such as

STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE

, and proficiency in

AutoCAD

. Strong understanding of

DM online portal submission

and approval workflows. Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. UAE driving license is an advantage.
