Produce structural design drawings, calculations and specifications (buildings, foundations, load-bearing structures) in accordance with UAE codes and local authority requirements.
Coordinate with architectural, MEP and civil disciplines to ensure structural design integration and compliance.
Prepare and submit documentation for authority approvals (Sharjah Municipality, Abu Dhabi municipal authorities, etc).
Liaise with site teams for design clarifications, revisions and as-built updates.
Review and check shop drawings, structural modelling (e.g., ETABS, STAAD, SAFE) and ensure adherence to relevant standards.
Ensure all designs comply with local regulations in both Sharjah and Abu Dhabi -- including occupational terms and professional competence criteria. Jawdah+2Jawdah+2
Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
