We are looking for a skilled and motivated

Structural Design Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural systems for various building projects. The engineer will collaborate closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to deliver structurally sound and code-compliant solutions.

Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures in compliance with local codes and international standards. Prepare structural drawings, design reports, and calculation sheets. Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors throughout the design and construction phases. Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals. Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to ensure design implementation. Modify designs based on feedback, budget limitations, or site conditions. Ensure structural designs are aligned with project timelines and client requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree is a plus). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural design, preferably in Qatar or GCC region. Proficient in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of Qatari building codes and international standards (ACI, BS, Eurocode, etc.). UPDA certification is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and coordination skills.
