Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Structural Design Engineer

with

5 to 10 years of experience in the Gulf region

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in structural analysis and design of buildings and infrastructure projects, with thorough knowledge of Gulf codes, standards, and construction practices.

Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities

Perform

structural analysis and design

for reinforced concrete and steel structures. Prepare

structural design calculations

, drawings, and technical reports. Ensure designs comply with

international and local Gulf codes

(ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, SBC, QCS, etc.). Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. Review and respond to

shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs

. Provide technical support during construction and attend site meetings when required. Value engineering and optimization of structural systems to achieve cost-effective solutions. Mentor junior engineers and support quality control procedures. Liaise with authorities and consultants for design approvals where applicable.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Civil or Structural Engineering

(Master's degree preferred). Minimum

5-10 years of structural design experience

, with proven

Gulf project exposure

.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in structural software such as

ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro

. Experience with

AutoCAD

and

Revit Structure

. Excellent knowledge of

RC and steel design

, foundations, and seismic considerations. Familiarity with high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects is preferred.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines. Team-oriented with leadership capabilities.

Gulf Experience Requirement

Must have

hands-on experience working on projects in the Gulf region
