About the Role

We are seeking a

Structural Engineer

with

6+ years

of experience in building construction projects in

Abu Dhabi / Dubai.

The role involves designing, analyzing, and supervising structural elements for commercial and residential buildings, ensuring compliance with local codes and project requirements. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and capable of preparing accurate structural designs, drawings and reviewing specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design structural elements including beams, columns, slabs, foundations, and retaining structures for building projects. Prepare structural drawings, schematics, and calculation reports using AutoCAD, Revit, or STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE etc. Conduct structural analysis and design calculations to ensure safety, efficiency, and code compliance. Review and finalize structural specifications and design documents in line with local and international standards. Coordinate structural design with architectural, mechanical, and electrical design teams. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input during project execution. Liaise with Authorities and Contractors to ensure approvals and implementation compliance. Stay updated with Local building codes, ESTIDAMA, Civil Defence, and Engineering best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 6+years of relevant experience in building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, ESTIDAMA, Civil Defence, and local authority regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE etc. and other structural design softwares. Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary & Benefits

Salary:

AED

12,000 - 15,000 per month

(depending on experience)
