Engineer - Bridges / Structures

to join our team, with a desire to work on

design of bridges and structures

within infrastructure projects enhancing the fabric of our communities.

In this role, you will plan and design structures and facilities such as bridges, underpasses, tunnels, culverts and utility structures. You will analyze proposed projects to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and apply state-of-the-art technologies in their delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:

Structural Analysis and Design of Bridges, Tunnels, Underpasses and civil structures, at both Preliminary and Detailed Design stages. Defining & developing BIM models for your structures. Site Inspections / Surveys / Condition Assessments. Preparing Engineering Calculations and Specifications. Providing input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafts, Designers and lower-level Engineers working on the same projects. Other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum 5 years of related work experience relevant to bridges Working knowledge of BIM tools, CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with bridge engineering.
