Mittal Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced
Structural Steel Design Engineer
to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and detailing of structural steel components in line with project specifications and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
structural steel: design, design calculations and model, drawings, and review with authorities .
Ensure compliance with local codes, especially Dubai Municipality regulations.
Coordinate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines.
Use software tools such as STAAD.Pro, Tekla, AutoCAD, and other structural design programs.
Provide technical support during construction phases and resolve design-related issues.
Prepare technical submittals and obtain necessary project approvals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
3-4 years of proven experience in structural steel design.
Dubai Municipality approved Structural Engineer
(Certificate/ID must be valid).
Proficient in structural analysis software and drafting tools.
Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and international design standards.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with EPC or contracting companies in the UAE.
Familiarity with fabrication and erection practices.
