Job Description
We are currently seeking a
talented and experienced Structural Design Engineer
to join our design team inAjman
. The ideal candidate will havehands-on UAE experience
, excellent technical knowledge, and a strong understanding ofmunicipality codes and design regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
structural design and analysis
forresidential villas, G+8 buildings, mosques, and mixed-use developments
. Prepare, review, and validatestructural drawings, calculation reports, and technical documentation
in compliance with UAE standards. Ensure all designs comply withAjman, Sharjah Municipality regulations
andUAE building codes
. Coordinate effectively witharchitectural, MEP, and project management teams
to deliver integrated and efficient design solutions. Conductsite inspections, design evaluations, and technical reviews
to verify alignment with approved structural plans. Support inauthority submissions, design approvals, and client meetings
to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery. Providetechnical mentorship
to junior engineers and draftsmen, ensuring high-quality standards and accuracy.Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree inCivil or Structural Engineering
(Master's preferred).Experience:
Minimum3-6 years of UAE experience
in structural design and analysis, preferably within aconsultancy environment
.Software Proficiency:
Strong knowledge ofETABS, SAFE, STAAD, PROKON, AutoCAD
, and other relevant design software.Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding ofUAE building codes, authority submission procedures
, andmunicipality design standards
. Experience inhigh-rise and low-rise structures
,foundation design
, andreinforced concrete systems
.Certifications:
ValidUAE Driving License
(required). ValidSociety of Engineers (SOE) Card
(required).Language Skills:
Fluency inArabic
(required);English
proficiency is an advantage.Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and coordination skills, and keen attention to technical detail.Job Type: Full-time
