Job Description
Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or SolidWorks will be an advantage. Strong understanding of architectural steel and metal fabrication systems. Familiarity with GCC building codes and steel fabrication standards. Proven ability to prepare CNC-ready drawings for fabrication. Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working effectively with multiple stakeholders. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to accurately translate design intent into working drawings using AutoCAD. (Experience with Revit or SolidWorks is a plus.) Produce CNC-ready drawings to support automated cutting, bending, and fabrication processes. Revise and update drawings based on site measurements, RFIs, and coordination with other trades such as glazing, concrete, and structural steel. Maintain proper documentation of all revisions and deliver accurate as-built drawings, including material specifications, surface finishes, connections, and installation details.
