Job Description

Responsible to coordinate with stakeholders of the Business Unit (BU) to achieve the Strategy and Assurance related deliverables and timelines assigned to BUs in line with the Corporate Strategy & Assurance team,

This position will support the Business Units on the development of long-term strategic planning, management of BU performance against the Business Plan and areas of Business Assurance, including H&S, Quality, Risk Management and CSR/Sustainability. Working with the Strategy & Assurance department in carrying out market research, developing and implementing lean processes, developing plans that support growth & delivery objectives and measuring business performance management through various tools that develop and maintain competitive advantage for the business.
  • The role is tasked with bringing together crucial pieces of information such as competitor performance, operational performance, innovations, markets, etc., from various internal and external sources in order to develop strategic options for the BU, aligned to the Corporate Strategy. Ensure that the strategy planning process highlights existing business issues, making certain that these issues are addressed by the laid-out plans
  • Responsible to provide full administrative and functional support to the BU in relation to all Strategy and Business Assurance related jobs / tasks
  • Act as the BU champion for all areas related to Strategy & Assurance, being part of various working groups as required for Strategy Development, Risk Management, Quality etc.
  • Responsible to collate and submit monthly Balanced Scorecard updates, Business Excellence Plan updates and monthly reports to the Strategy & Assurance team.
  • Development and deploy improvement plans in all areas of Business Assurance in line with the Corporate Business Assurance improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with BU EHSQ team to ensure that all plans related to Business Assurance are fully implemented and provide training and support relating to processes, incident investigation etc.
  • Establish an annual comprehensive plan for Business Assurance audits and SPCP validation.
  • Coordination with CRC/Customer Experience team to ensure that the CRC provides an effective solution to meet business needs and is aware of new contracts/tenders that will impact the CRC and require resourcing.
  • Review CSAT and NPS scores received from the CRC/Customer Experience team and working with the BU Head/Operations, ensure that action plans are implemented taking into account client feedback to improve performance
  • Carry out audits and validation of onsite implementation of required processes and plans.
  • Ensure regular communication between BU and Corporate departments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on accountability and deliverables
  • Assists in obtaining and retaining Integrated Management Systems accreditations, facilitating and driving the processes to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Coordination and facilitation with Marketing teams, acting as a point of contact for marketing requirements
  • Take minutes at meetings, transcribe and present back to attendees accurately and in the appropriate format
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by the BU head and/or the Strategy & Assurance team from time to time
  • Physically/ virtually be always available for the BU for any audits and external visits that the BU Head might have from time to time
  • Manage and maintain an effective documentation ensuring that it is complete, up-to-date and accessible to BU Head on a regular basis

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is a must and PG Diploma / PG Degree is desirable.
  • Relevant professional certification is preferred.
Skills/ Competencies/ Experience
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in a Strategy or EHSQ related field with Facilities Management or Waste Management experience preferred
  • Numerical Ability, Attention to detail, Confidentiality, Process Orientation, Interpersonal Skills, Negotiation skills, Flexibility, Ownership & Accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Oral and Written) and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
  • Professional approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, including report writing

  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft office
