Overview of the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Storekeeper for Toyota & Lexus Ras Al Khaimah who will manage the workshop store operations and exercise control on receipts, issues and storage of materials, consumables and tools. Part of your role is to provide the necessary assistance to Workshop Manager on administrative matters e.g. attendance record, incentive calculation, time sheet control / compilation, fixed asset inventory audit and among others.

What you will do

  • Procure workshop consumables, tools, equipment, manuals and other materials on specific instructions from Workshop Manager or Foreman or to set stocking levels. Involves technical understanding of need, sourcing, obtaining quotations, deciding supplier, raising LPO or LSR and related follow-up.
  • Receiving all indented materials, confirming its quality and quantity. Ensure to issue out materials through proper documentation.
  • Ensure that all returnable materials issued e.g. tools, SSTs, manuals etc. are returned back to the store on time. Non-returnable material such as paint and consumables issued is recorded for adjustment against inventory and charging to job cards.
  • Provide the necessary assistance to Workshop Manager on administrative matters e.g. attendance record, incentive calculation, time sheet control / compilation, fixed asset inventory audit, etc.
  • Ensure high standard of safety regarding the stored item to prevent fire hazard or any other accident.
  • Daily monitor waste stock such as oils, tyres, batteries, metal, plastic, paper etc. Organize collection for saleable items and disposal of rubbish items.
Skills

Required skills to be successful
  • Stock Management experience for 2 years
  • Excellent MS Office skills, Excel in particular; SAP added advantage
  • Very good English communication and negotiation skills
