Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate stock levels by performing regular inventory checks and audits
Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quality and quantity compliance with purchase orders
Source and procure materials, supplies, and equipment in a cost-effective and timely manner
Build and maintain relationships with approved suppliers to ensure timely and reliable deliveries
Coordinate with various departments (kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to fulfil material requirements
Keep detailed records of stock movement, purchases, and vendor transactions
Monitor expiry dates, damage, and wastage, and ensure proper storage of all inventory items
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock status and purchasing activities
Ensure all purchasing and storekeeping activities comply with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and audit requirements
Support cost control initiatives by identifying areas for savings and inventory optimization
