Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will ensure efficient stock management, maintain accurate records, and support smooth project operations by ensuring timely availability of required materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and materials usage. Regularly update stock registers and inventory control systems. Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, ensuring compliance with quality and quantity requirements. Organize and label materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to reorder materials as needed. Ensure adequate stock levels to prevent project delays. Issue materials and tools to site personnel as per requisition slips or approved requests. Maintain accurate records of issued items and ensure timely returns of reusable tools and equipment. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand material requirements and delivery schedules. Ensure proper documentation and coordination for inter-site material transfers. is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Properly store hazardous materials following safety guidelines. Prepare regular inventory reports, including stock levels, discrepancies, and consumption trends. Highlight any issues related to inventory management or material shortages.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years as a Storekeeper, preferably in the construction or related industry.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training in inventory or warehouse management is a plus.

Skills:

Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Familiarity with construction materials and tools is highly preferred.
