Job Summary:

The Warehouse Executive (Store Keeper) is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing automotive parts, tools, and equipment. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the efficient flow of materials to support workshop operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks. Monitor stock levels and place orders to avoid shortages or overstocking. Ensure proper labeling and storage of all automotive parts and equipment.

Receiving & Dispatching:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Process receiving documentation and update inventory records. Prepare and dispatch parts and materials to the workshop as required.

Warehouse Organization:

Organize the warehouse in a logical and accessible manner. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse at all times. Implement and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse. Ensure the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials. Maintain a safe working environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain accurate records of stock levels, movements, and orders. Generate periodic inventory reports for management review. Assist in conducting inventory audits as required.

Coordination:

Work closely with the workshop team to ensure timely availability of parts. Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries and returns. Support the workshop manager in planning and organizing stock for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or warehouse management is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the automotive industry. Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
