The Scaffolding Store Worker is responsible for handling, organizing, and maintaining scaffolding materials and equipment in the company's storage yard. The role ensures materials are safely stored, accurately recorded, and readily available for project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload scaffolding materials from trucks or containers.
Organize and store scaffolding items (pipes, clamps, boards, jacks, etc.) systematically.
Assist in counting, recording, and labeling scaffolding inventory.
Inspect materials for damages or wear and report to the supervisor.
Clean and maintain the yard and storage areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
Assist in preparing materials for delivery to project sites based on material requests.
Follow safety guidelines when handling and stacking heavy items.
Cooperate with the storekeeper to manage stock movements in and out.
Report shortages, damages, or missing items immediately.
Help with minor repairs or cleaning of scaffolding equipment when required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in scaffolding or construction stores preferred.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
Basic understanding of scaffolding components is an advantage.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Awareness of safety procedures in a construction yard.
Working Conditions:
6 days a week,
Outdoor work in a storage yard; physically demanding tasks
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
