Overview of the role:

The Store Supervisor is responsible to provide the direction, leadership and support needed to ensure the projects timely success.This role is the backbone to the Projects, working across all disciplines to provide full support and guidance and back-up at all times. In addition, tracking materials, Quality Management, Time management, Managing Processes.

What you will do:

Planning:

Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Setup and planning for shelving racking & cantilever system
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operation policies and procedures
Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
Implementing and overseeing security operations
Ensuring the safety of warehouse staff and workers
Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles
Responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stocking, order replenishment, shipping and maintaining accurate tool inventory and stock records in warehouse
Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operation by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program
Complies with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Prepare annual budget
Material ordering and delivery planning

Project Execution Plan (PEP):

Maintain and physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layout
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employee
Maintain control of tool and equipment inventories, keeping replacement costs to a minimum
Ensure proper tracking of tool and tools parts to Project sites
Maintain current data and records on the tools
Identify and coordinate tool repair and maintenance
Ensure all tools distributed to a employee/jobsite are in proper working order and are complete with all accessories and ensure that they are returned in the same condition
Evaluate and coordinate repairs of damaged tools, repair resolution should be based on the most cost effective result
Purchase tools, equipment and supplies within budget guidelines and negotiate advantageous prices, service and terms
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Develop the Logistics specific PEP Logistics Management and ensure full coverage of the contracted Scope of Works in terms of deliverables, acceptance criteria, reporting and escalation protocols, and collaborative best working practices
Lead the implementation of the Logistics specific sections of the PEP both up and down the supply chain
Update and revise the Logistics plan, as required from time-to-time to mitigate project delivery risks and resolve any specific issues
Establish Logistics related Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for inclusion in regular management reports
Provide Logistics related sections of regular weekly, monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly reports

Responsibilities
Review existing company owned items to fulfill requirements prior to purchasing these items
Maximize the utilization rate of tools and equipment
Coordinate repair of equipment and vehicles
Maintain Records and schedule routine maintenance of equipment /vehicles
Maintain secured, clean and organized storage areas and establish warehousing standards when necessary
Oversee coordinate and expediting of the flow of work and material according to jobsite schedules
Design, develop and improve inventory movement and storage system
Monitor that deliveries of supplies and equipment arrive at jobsites as per schedule
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Produce reports and statistics regularly (In/Out) status report, dead stock and slow moving etc.
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of service provided

Sound knowledge of Warehouse practices; Strong organisational skills; Dynamic; well organized, flexible and able to support cross-functional coordination in a fast paced environment and possess excellent judgement. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Individual Accountability and motivated to deliver at all times.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Diploma/Degree Holder or suitable experience gained in a similar role

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 5 to 7 years work experience
Experience in site store/warehouse role preferred
UAE/GCC experience preferred, not essential
