He/she is responsible for assisting all warehouse and store operations activities, including transporting and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting store transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of all items, inventory, and property for the company.
Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring they match purchase orders. Report and document any discrepancies or damages
Receive, store, tag, and track all items. Prepare lists for items to be purchased, discarded, or stored
Process and distribute documentation along with purchase orders. Prepare supply requisitions, assist in ordering, and deliver orders to departments
Handle the shipping of canceled or damaged items back to vendors. Coordinate with suppliers for returns
Make deliveries of requested office furniture and merchandise within the company. Maintain detailed delivery records
Supervise the maintenance and orderliness of the store to ensure a well-organized environment
Train and direct the work of store assistants. Provide guidance and supervision to ensure smooth operations
Act as a lead worker, providing guidance to other classified staff in the area
Prepare supply requisitions and assist the buyer in ordering adequate merchandise and supplies
Perform any other duties related to storekeeping as assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. A relevant degree in related field is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of experience in store management, preferably in healthcare services, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
Proficiency in inventory management, order processing, and quality control procedures
Experience in team management, including training and directing store staff, etc.
