Job Description
MD Design & Fitout is looking for a
storekeeper
to manage ourjoinery warehouse operations
. The ideal candidate should have experience handlingjoinery materials
, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring smooth material flow between warehouse, production, and project sites.Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming
joinery materials
(MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, hardware, accessories)
Issue materials accurately as per
material request notes
Maintain properstock records, bin cards, and inventory logs
Monitor stock levels and inform management ofshortages or re-order needs
Conductregular stock counts
and reconcile discrepancies Ensure properstorage, labeling, and organization
of materials Maintain aclean and safe warehouse environment
Prevent material damage, wastage, or misuse Coordinate withproduction team, site engineers, and suppliers
Prepare basic reports (GRN, material issue notes, inventory reports)Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a
storekeeper in a joinery/fit-out warehouse
Good knowledge ofjoinery materials and hardware
Stronginventory control and record-keeping skills
Basic computer knowledge (Excel / inventory systems
) Good organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Honest, reliable, and responsible Physically fit for warehouse dutiesSalary & Benefits
Salary:
Based on experience
Benefits as per company policy Forklift license (if applicable) Ability to communicate clearly with site and factory teamsJob Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
