Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of food items, beverages, and catering supplies.
Verify quantities, quality, and condition of items against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food and non-food items in compliance with HACCP and company standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in both physical and digital systems.
Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report shortages or damages.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment with the purchasing team.
Implement and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles for all perishable goods.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of all storage areas, cold rooms, and dry stores.
Coordinate the issuance of goods to kitchen and service staff as per approved requisitions.
Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems.
Support waste management and sustainability initiatives by minimizing spoilage and optimizing stock rotation.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or certificate in Storekeeping, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in a catering, hotel, or food service environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and basic accounting principles.
Familiarity with food storage standards, HACCP, and temperature control requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software (e.g., Oracle, ERP, or similar).
