Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods in the manufacturing facility. Ensure that all materials are stored in a safe, organized manner to prevent damage and optimize space utilization. Ensure timely issuance and distribution of materials as required by production schedules. Supervise and coordinate the work of store or warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and efficiency. Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management, including stock levels, usage rates, and any discrepancies. Monitor the quality of materials received and stored, ensuring that they meet company standards and specifications. Report any malfunctioning equipment to the maintenance team and ensure timely repairs.
Qualifications:
Graduate With Computer Skills. 1-2 years of experience as a Store Incharge or in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and material requirements planning (MRP). Leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively. Good organizational and problem-solving skills. *
Proficient in basic computer software
(MS Office, spreadsheets) and inventory management software.
