Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and compliance at all times.
Report directly to the Area Manager, providing regular updates on sales performance, staffing, and operational matters.
Deliver weekly and monthly sales targets set by the Area Manager and actively drive revenue through effective floor management, upselling, and customer engagement.
Monitor daily sales, analyse performance trends, and implement actions to improve turnover and average spend per customer.
Lead, train, and develop all restaurant staff, ensuring consistent service standards and strong product and menu knowledge.
Conduct staff inductions, ongoing training, and coaching to improve service quality, sales performance, and operational efficiency.
Prepare staff rotas in line with forecasted sales and manage labour costs effectively.
Supervise staff performance, provide regular feedback, and escalate disciplinary or performance issues to the Area Manager where required.
Ensure excellent customer experience by managing service delivery, handling complaints professionally, and encouraging repeat business.
Oversee stock control, ordering, and waste management to maintain food cost margins.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and company policies.
Act as the main point of contact between the restaurant team and senior management.
