Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Management
Manage
complete day-to-day store operations
, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
Ensure
proper storage, labelling, and organization
of all materials to prevent damage or loss.
Maintain
cleanliness, safety, and compliance
with company and statutory standards.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and site teams for material requirements.
Monitor store activities to ensure
operational efficiency and cost control
.
Inventory Control & Stock Management
Maintain
accurate inventory records
in ERP/manual systems.
Conduct
regular physical stock counts
and reconcile with system records.
Monitor
minimum, maximum, and reorder levels
to avoid stock shortages or excess.
Identify
slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock
and report accordingly.
Ensure
FIFO/FEFO
methods are followed wherever applicable.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain
GRN, issue slips, stock registers, and delivery challans
.
Ensure
proper documentation for inward and outward materials
.
Generate
periodic inventory and consumption reports
for management review.
Support internal and external
audits
by providing accurate store records.
Coordination & Compliance
Coordinate with vendors during material receipt and inspection.
Ensure materials received match
purchase orders, specifications, and quality standards
.
Comply with company policies, SOPs, and internal control procedures.
Support implementation of
process improvements
in store and inventory management.
People & Asset Management
Supervise store helpers or assistants, if applicable.
Ensure
proper handling and safeguarding of company assets
stored in the warehouse.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
inventory management practices
Good
documentation and reporting skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to coordinate across departments
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP)
Problem-solving and organizational skills
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree or Master's in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
4-8 years of experience in store management and inventory control.
Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
Must have UAE experience.
