Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at Spring of Art - Gifts & Stationery located on Corniche Street in Kalba, Fujairah, UAE. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about customer service and retail management. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience, ensuring that our store operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, providing gift-wrapping services, and supporting basic store management tasks. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members will be essential in maintaining a positive shopping environment.
Responsibilities: * Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products, providing exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.

  • Perform gift-wrapping services to ensure that all purchases are beautifully presented, meeting customer expectations.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
  • Manage inventory by restocking shelves and ensuring that products are properly displayed and accessible.
  • Handle cash register operations, including processing transactions, handling returns, and providing receipts.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, aiding them in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Assist in the implementation of promotional displays and marketing initiatives to attract customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support the manager in daily store operations and participate in team meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
Preferred Candidate: * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred, showcasing familiarity with sales processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when required.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring that all gift-wrapping and product displays meet high standards of quality.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of the retail environment.
  • Basic knowledge of store management principles and practices is a plus.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to handle cash and perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
