Stock Controller
Job Description
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced stock controller for a retail showroom with large number of items in stocks. Job duties and responsibilities include: - Receiving new items, checking them for any defects, storing them in relevant locations, entering their details in the accounting system and tagging them - Monitoring stock movements from different locations and updating the system of their new locations - At the end of each day ensuring sale and delivery of the correct items and updating the system accordingly, if required - Preparing purchase orders for new items as required by the sales team - Producing reports of slow moving items and making recommendations for faster sales - Producing reports of consignment items and statement of accounts for the Consigners
Requirements
- Graduate with a minimum of Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or similar relevant fields - At least 3 years experience as a stock controller or store keeper, preferably in the UAE - High level of MS Excel skills and other related software - Good communication skills
