Purpose of Role:
To ensure an organized well maintained Back and Front of House as per HACCP requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Is responsible to ensure breakages are administrated so as to provide constant feedback to the operation as a tool to reduce breakage and loss.
- Strictly controls inventories and par stocks in operation for all operating equipment and FF&E and ensures that the outlet is well stocked at all times.
- Ensures cleaning schedules are adhered to and all areas both FOH & BOH are in optimal cleanliness.
- Attains and maintains the sanitation policies (HACCP) as required by the regional governing body and as instructed by the Hygiene Manager.
- Leads by example through passionate, hands on approach. Remains visible and assists team members in all aspects of the operation.
- Displays personal ownership and responsibility for the efficient operation.
- Displays an innovative and enquiring attitude. Thinking \xe2\x80\x98outside the box\xe2\x80\x99 is very much expected. Continuously strives for product enhancement and quality improvement particularly in regard to cleaning material.
- Fosters excellent personal interaction skills. Spends quality time with colleagues and seeks direct feedback and resolves challenges as they arise to ensure the highest level of colleague satisfaction.
- Motivates his team by being an inspiring leader. Builds a strong team where people enjoy working and having fun. Gives directions, sets objectives, embraces empowerment and keeps his Stewards accountable for their performance. Encourages team spirit by generating new ideas from all levels and implementing the most inspiring.
- Ensures optimum Productivity by monitoring team efficiency. Supports \xe2\x80\x98multi-tasking\xe2\x80\x99 as a work ethic. Insists that all safety regulations are known intimately and adheres to procedures thoroughly and accurately.
- Keeps abreast of updated and international Hospitality trends.
Profile required:
Education:
Grooming All talent members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific W standards are to be met. Styling should be in line with W wardrobe.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.
- Minimum 1 year experience required in similar environment
- Pre- opening experience
- Must be able to fluently speak, read, write and understand the primary language (s) used in the work place.
- Requires good communication skills both written and verbal
- Have strong working knowledge of large operation
- Manpower planning and control to minimize labour cost
- Computer Literate
