The Steel Welder will be responsible for performing welding tasks on steel structures, signage frames, and related fabrication works as per drawings and specifications. The role requires strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards to ensure durable and precise results.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
Perform welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (where applicable).
Fabricate and assemble metal components used in signage, structural frames, and supports.
Inspect materials and structures before welding to ensure accuracy and quality.
Follow company welding procedures and comply with safety standards.
Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing of welded parts when required.
Conduct routine maintenance of welding machines and tools.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
Maintain housekeeping and adhere to workshop safety guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of welding experience, preferably in steel fabrication or signage industry.
Knowledge of different welding methods.
Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
Familiarity with workplace health and safety standards.
Ability to work in workshop/industrial environment.
