to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs related to steel fabrication and erection, with a focus on using Tekla for quantity take-offs and modeling.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Review architectural and structural drawings to prepare detailed estimates for steel structure projects.
Utilize
Tekla Structures
for accurate quantity take-offs and 3D modeling support.
Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure correct interpretation of drawings.
Request and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotes to prepare competitive pricing.
Prepare and submit BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender documents.
Monitor ongoing project costs and provide value engineering options where applicable.
Ensure estimations comply with industry standards and client specifications.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Tekla Structures is mandatory.
UAE
Attested certificate
is mandatory - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Proven experience in steel structure estimation.
Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection methods.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software tools.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
UAE Driving License (Preferred)
