Learn more: About the Role We are seeking a skilled Steel Painter to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Steel Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality protective and decorative coatings to steel structures, equipment, and components in various industrial settings. Prepare steel surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust or old paint Mix and match paints according to specifications and color requirements Apply primers, paints, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Ensure proper coverage and thickness of coatings to meet quality standards Inspect completed work for defects and touch up as necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling paints and equipment Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed What do we need from you Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in industrial painting, preferably with steel structures Proficiency in various painting techniques for steel surfaces Strong knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and application methods Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various positions and handle painting equipment Understanding of corrosion protection methods and industrial coating systems High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in industrial painting is preferred Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) related to working with hazardous materials is a plus Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work Efficient and organized work habits Ability to work effectively in a team environment Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr
