About the Role

COENGR is seeking a qualified Authority & Stakeholder Specialist with an Architectural or BIM Architecture background to handle project submissions, permits, and approvals across various Abu Dhabi authorities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using government systems such as MEPS, TAMM, AIDAS, and other approval platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of authority regulations, design documentation, and effective stakeholder management to ensure timely project approvals and compliance with local standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage authority submission packages for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Coordinate directly with government authorities and stakeholders including ADM, DMT, ADDC, ADCD, DOT, RAKEZ, AD Ports, KEZAD, Aldar, and others. Utilize and navigate Abu Dhabi's approval systems (MEPS, TAMM, AIDAS, and other portals) to process submissions efficiently. Ensure all designs and documents are in line with local authority standards, codes, and guidelines. Track, monitor, and follow up on approval statuses to ensure timely project clearances. Work closely with internal Architectural / BIM teams to align drawings and models with authority requirements. Provide updates, reports, and logs of submission progress to management and clients. Maintain professional relationships with authority representatives and stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field (mandatory). 5 years of experience in authority liaison / approvals, within Abu Dhabi. Strong background in Architecture / BIM Architecture, with knowledge of design documentation. Proven experience using MEPS, TAMM, AIDAS and other UAE authority submission portals. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM workflows is an advantage. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of local codes, regulations, and authority procedures. Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
