We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Stainless Steel Polisher
to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for polishing and finishing stainless steel components to a high-quality standard. This role requires precision, manual dexterity, and experience in working with stainless steel surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Polishing & Finishing:
Polish and buff stainless steel products to achieve the desired finish, including mirror, satin, and brushed finishes.
Surface Preparation:
Clean and prepare surfaces prior to polishing to ensure quality results.
Tool Handling:
Operate polishing tools, grinders, and other finishing equipment safely and effectively.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for scratches, blemishes, or defects, and ensure conformance to specifications.
Material Handling:
Safely handle and move stainless steel materials and components during the polishing process.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of polishing equipment to ensure smooth operation.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with fabricators, welders, and supervisors to meet production schedules and standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in stainless steel polishing or metal finishing.
Knowledge of various stainless steel finishing techniques and surface types.
Ability to use polishing machines, hand tools, and abrasives.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
Good physical stamina to work standing for long hours and handle materials.
Understanding of safety procedures and use of PPE.
