Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete staff planning cycle from forecasting through schedule execution for the store
  • Develop optimized rosters that balance customer demand, co-worker availability, and business priorities
  • Analyze schedules, vacation trends, training plans, and absences to ensure efficient store capacity
  • Coordinate with department managers to adapt schedules based on operational needs and skill requirements
  • Ensure staff schedules are published on time and all changes are accurately recorded in the system
  • Oversee daily time acceptance and address hour shortages or excesses promptly
  • Monitor staff planning KPIs and generate reports to improve planning efficiency and productivity
  • Prepare monthly payroll-related reports, including overtime, shortages, and unregularized absences
  • Alert HRBP when scheduled or actual hours exceed approved financial frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with Al-Futtaim Group policies, local labor laws, and IKEA operational standards
  • Promote work-life balance while maintaining cost efficiency and operational effectiveness
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • 2-3 years of experience in staff scheduling or workforce planning within a retail environment
  • Strong understanding of scheduling and rostering techniques
  • Good knowledge of retail operations and labor law requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under operational pressure
