Job Title

: Staff Nurse (Male/Female)

MAIN PURPOSE : To provide first aid care, medical assistance and facilitate referral to walk in Clinic or other public hospitals in Qatar the staff visiting FMM First aid unit. Staff nurse will be responsible and well-trained professionals to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will also be responsible for following health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care and advise to staffs.

Responsibilities:

Provide First Aid support at FMM First Aid Unit (FAU)

Maintain up to date information and clinic records related to the consultation, employee health surveillance, medical leaves, diagnosis, medications provided, etc.

Ensure that all medical aids and equipment are well maintained and calibration or cross checks are performed or initiated regularly and timely

Conduct regular inspection of First Aid items and ensure that they are valid and safe to use.

Dispose all medical waste as per the protocol

Maintain first aid register with up-to-date information

Ensure that the Fist Aid clinic is cleaned and hygienically maintained

Follow-up with hospitals and clinics for fmm employee related referrals

Ensure that adequate PPEs are available in the FAU

Conduct daily inspection in the isolation rooms and ensure that the rooms are well ready for isolation cases

Coordinate and communicate with Accommodation management team to ensure the patients admitted in the isolation rooms are provided with applicable welfare provisions

Immediately escalate any injury, serious health conditions to the attention of HSEQ Manager and HR Manager for immediate attention.

QUALIFICATIONS

:

Educational

Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a nurse

Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

Excellent knowledge of emergency care

A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsible and compassionate

BSc or other diploma from a nursing program

Valid nursing license (QCHP)

IT Skills : Microsoft Office Conversant. Able to handle the excel spreadsheet and prepare reports using MS office

Technical knowledge

: QCHP approved.

Languages:Proficient in written and oral English

Soft Skills: Team player, good training skills, good written and verbal communication skills, sense of urgency, self-starter, proactive (key requirement)
