How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

The Technical Pre-Sales Staff Engineer will be responsible for providing support to customers and the Andrew's regional sales team. This individual will be responsible for supporting bids and proposals by performing RF designs, creating BoQs, and contributing to creating service proposals.


This position will be in Dubai.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support and perform professional services such as design, commissioning and testing of systems Provide presentations to customers on Andrew's solutions and other technical topics Work with the sales team to provide pre-sales application engineering support. This will include traveling to customer facilities when additional technical expertise is required. Provide engineering support customers base and sales team by answering technical questions concerning Andrew's indoor small cells solutions. Provide technical support for tenders and proposals. Design and configure ICN products and solutions Assist with compiling quotations, tender responses and contracts Perform professional services activities Provide written and verbal progress / status reports on ICN Projects accurately, concisely and in a timely manner. Work in conjunction with support functions and other BUs to ensure success deliveries or solving quality tickets. Provide Local and Regional Accountability

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Ability to travel across the MEA region Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Telecommunication 3 or more years of experience in the RF design field/Telecoms Demonstrable working knowledge in current and next generation communication networks: wireless, telecom networks Capable of understanding and communicating technical ideas/products/solutions Excellent ability to work independently with little supervision Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and Arabic Well-developed interpersonal skills enabling teamwork and clear communication
