Basic Function
Perform various ultrasound exams (US) including abdomen, pelvis, Breast, OB/GYN, vascular studies, pediatric and small parts.
Scope
The work will be in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Radiology Imaging Department. The work assignment will be in Dhahran or Al Hasa/UDH, based on the operational need. The working hours will be mandated to meet the operational needs as directed by the Radiology Management.
Principal Contacts
Interaction will be on a daily basis with all Radiology or other technical staff and management as needed. Periodic Interaction with other services in JHAH or/and the other services' key personnel may also be required.
Principal Duties
Performs exams according to routine protocols Performs independently all the routine and advanced US exams, including abdomen, pelvis, Breast,OB/GYN, vascular studies, pediatric and small parts. Keeps up to date with advances in US Supervise and train junior US technologist and Students Is capable of adjusting the current standards US in order to obtain better image quality and increase quantity in the workflow Follows established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety
Education
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Science or Ultra Sound specialty Master's degree in Radiologic Science or Ultra Sound specialty
Experience
Minimum 7 years. clinical experience in US with Bachelor's degree, OR Minimum 5 yrs. clinical experience with Master's degree in US
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
Eligibility to acquire and maintain a current Saudi Commission of Health Specialties license Strong written and verbal communication skills; People and team working skills; Flexible approach to working; Numeracy and problem-solving skills; Time management and organizational skills
