Basic Function
Perform various MRI exams in Dhahran and the Districts. Examples and not limited to: All routine MRI exams Cardiac MRI Prostate MRI Breast MRI preferable
Scope
The work will be in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Radiology Imaging Department. The work assignment will be in Dhahran or Al Hasa/UDH, based on the operational need. The working hours will be mandated to meet the operational needs as directed by the Radiology Management.
Principal Contacts
Interaction will be on a daily basis with all Radiology or other technical staff and management as needed. Periodic Interaction with other services in JHAH or/and the other services' key personnel may also be required.
Principal Duties
Performs independently all the routine MRI Exams Performs under minimal supervision advanced MRI exams, including Cardiac MRI, MRA, prostate and Breast MRI Determines if a patient is MRI safe and follows MRI safety guidelines as per policies Keeps up to date with advances in MRI Supervise and train junior MRI technologist Is capable of adjusting the current standards MRI in order to obtain better image quality and increase quantity in the workflow
Education
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Science or MRI Specialty Master's degree in Radiologic Science or MRI Radiology specialty
Experience
Minimum 4 years clinical experience in MRI with Bachelor's degree, OR Minimum 2 years clinical experience in MRI with Master's degree
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
Eligibility to acquire and maintain a current Saudi Commission of Health Specialties license Strong written and verbal communication skills; People and team working skills; Flexible approach to working; Numeracy and problem-solving skills; Time management and organizational skills
