Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Specialist for our Logistics Performance to join our team and be part of our growth. If your decisions are data-driven, and a person who is hungry for a fast pace, new adventure, and agile then a multinational workplace is waiting for you!

As our Sr. Specialist, Logistics Performance, you will be responsible for the overall logistics performance in the Sultanate of Oman! You will be managing, owning, and improving the logistics performance of all cities across the country. The core focal point of all stakeholders related to various service levels, analysing compliance, finding performance gaps, staffing adjustments, forecasting, earnings structure, configurations and optimizations.

You shall ensure to execute projects with a trackable roadmap based on Root-Cause-Analysis that will enable you to fill the performance related gaps, and ensure documentation along the way.

You will also support in positioning talabat as a platform of choice for our entire ecosystem and contribute to deliver a seamless experience during Order Placement upon Successfully delivered. Lastly, you will develop innovative improvement action plans driven by feedback of riders, customers, and partners to make a difference to our ecosystem lives!

What's On Your Plate? Developing localized reports, and dashboards for sets of KPI and performance SLAs. Analyze, derive, and solve complex logistics performance related problems utilizing large complex sets of data through Looker, Data Studio, and BigQ. Owning all performance reporting, configurations and optimization tools, and acting as a consultant to the Head of Logistics Function. Leads training programs for other stakeholders to alleviate product knowledge and operating flows. Strongly collaborate alongside country sales and marketing teams on actions and activities to drive performance forward. Provide weekly updates to country management on projects, and performance progress. Running analysis, finding the areas of development, identify the best balance between user experience and logistics efficiency. Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Country teams, Regional Product operations and Data science to improve the effectiveness of our process and reporting. Improve reporting and data availability for faster and more effective decision making for all sub-functions. Support other stakeholders when required or as requested from Line Manager.

What Did We Order? Bachelor's Degree in any engineering or within data analytic background. Technical Fluency in English and Arabic communication. Experience from 3+ years preferably in the food tech industry or last-mile industry. Adaptive to multiple systems, and agility in learning new systems or developing new feature requests. Prior experience in analysing big data for a similar application. Previous experience in a start-up environment or in a technology company ideal but not necessary Thinking outside of the box to predict and prevent the upcoming issues
